Mark will be putting his best foot forward during March for the UK's leading pregnancy and baby loss charity – Sands
Five years ago should have been one of the happiest days of Mark's life: the birth of his first grandchild.
Unfortunately, his granddaughter was only with us for a few hours. This caused distress and great pain for Mark's family; even now, after five years, it is still very painful.
As it's the fifth anniversary, Mark has decided to do a charity walk during March in aid of Sands. This is a charity that helps bereaved families after such tragic circumstances.
Mark will be walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss and raising funds for Sands.
During March, Mark will be walking 100K and, as he sets off on this incredible personal challenge, we would really appreciate your support.

About Sands
Sands supports everyone touched by pregnancy or baby loss. They ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times.
Their dedicated volunteers, befrienders and staff team offer support, compassion and understanding online and in communities. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
