CLAYWORKING MACHINERY

Research & Development

From the design and manufacture of complete production lines, through to the development of new processes for the extrusion of innovative new clays, Craven Fawcett has a long and successful history of designing bespoke manufacturing solutions.

Our product development team of highly trained and experienced mechanical and electrical engineers work closely with our customers to ensure that project specifications are met.

All major research and development work is conducted in-house and is supported by a well equipped Computer Aided Design Department covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software engineering disciplines. New production methods, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Techniques, are continuously used in the design of Craven Fawcett Machinery. The Wakefield Factory also boasts excellent fabrication, machining and fitting departments ensuring that all aspects of machine build are controlled to CF quality and safety standards which have achieved international (ISO9001 & ISO 14001) and European (CE) certification.
